My tea story...

I remember loving tea as a little girl. Tea, at that time, came in teabags purchased at the grocery store...a humble introduction to the world of tea! Being raised in a coffee loving household, however, had a far greater impact on my life! I was a true coffee addict---I needed my cup of java to get me going in the morning! That was to change forever when my friend, Valerie, and I began our tea adventure in 2003...

For over 4 years, Val and I catered tea gatherings designed around fanciful themes. Exquisitely set tables, accented with fresh flower arrangements, were the backdrop for our heavenly tea gatherings. We delighted our guests with an amusing tea etiquette skit, starring Lady Grace and her hilarious, fumbling sidekick, Ruby. Delightful menus crowned our charming tea gatherings. Our Hats and Glove Dessert Menu included scrumptious scones, irresistible desserts and aromatic teas. Surprise appetizers and savory sandwiches were added to create our elaborate Battenberg Lace Menu. Our business became a season of valuable lessons for both of us and birthed my growing passion for tea.
